My son really loves his codi, he loves listening to all the stories , asking it questions and hearing all the jokes. Its really helped him calm down, he's a much calmer nicer boy. Codi also helps him go to bed with out fighting him to stay there, his sleep quality has been better to, as he's hasn't been woken up by any sleep terrors. Thank you pillar learning for making such a wonderful robot.
We like Codi a lot, as he is unlike any other toy we have. I have my Codi setting at a toddler level. I haven't looked to other age settings, and I am unfamiliar with how the comment is different outside if this setting.
I am familiar with many tech items and I have many smart devices. I'm 30 with a Master's Degree in Teaching, so I'm hoping my feedback helps you know how I think the product could be improved.
>Codi seems to be durable
>easy to clean for basic dirty situations
>the outfits are cute and a good range of animals
>has some educational content
>good variety of content
>volume control dial is very simple and great
>gets very loud, which I appreciate
>the real-life lessons for toddlers are very nice and my child likes to listen to them
>the outfits are difficult to put on until they stretch a little from use and I had to spend minutes figuring out how to get one on the first time - perhaps have an explanation on the easiest way to get them off and on for new customers
>many stories included are useless to me since they're folklore and I have no interest in my child learning folklore that has little to no educational value - it would make a lot more sense to have factual stories that actually teach my child something worth knowing, like animal and science facts
>the brushing teeth song sounds nice and I don't hate it, but it's not the correct length for brushing teeth - between when she says to start and spit it's definitely not 2 minutes and who brushes for 2 minutes and only spits at the end? The actual brushing part of the song should be around 2:10 to allow for spit time
>parental control seems to only work if the child leaves Codi on
>I wish I could add more than one type of media to the playlist to play right away. Being dedicated to a mode means there's less versatility
>I wish I could add the brushing teeth song to the playlist (my child really likes it and would listen to it more often)
>I wish I could preview the content before we listen to it. I don't like the folklore, as I've stated, and I can't tell what a song will be like unless we actually listen to it. Even just listening to the first 15 seconds of a track with my phone would typically let me know what the track is about. Another way is to provide the words for the track so I can read it and decide if it's something worth listening to.
>I'm disappointed at how little educational content there actually is included. There's so much to listen to and yet very little to learn. I'm honestly very surprised and it doesn't seem like the right direction for something which such potential.
>I wish the sleep time song could be interchangeable
Since there's not very much educational content so far I'm not going out of my way to turn Codi on every day. If he had a lot more I would encourage my child to actually turn him on more often.

Outfits are snug and a little hard to get on but they’re very cute! Hope they come out with more. My kids change his outfit every day!
